“Train-in-GAIT” is a series of workshops for you who strive to transform the organization you work in, the society you are a citizen of, or the environment you live in.
Our aim is to teach you how to increase the impact of your interventions, while at the same time decrease the pain that your strivings cause in others and your own suffering when confronted with resistances.
This time we offer a two days workshop where you will be able to get acquainted with the GAIT model for transformational work in organizations and other social-ecological systems. During the first part of the workshop you will explore the core of the model: your deeper motivation to promote change. The second part you will get acquainted with the technical aspects of the model, which will allow you to develop the art and craft of the Transformation Agent.

PROGRAM
PART 1 – “THE CORE OF YOUR MOTIVATION TO TRANSFORM AND CREATE. YOUR CALLING AND YOUR VULNERABILITY AS A CHANGE AGENT”
You persevere in your striving to transform the organization in which you work, the society you are part of or the environment you live in. Despite the resistance you meet, you want to promote changes beyond achieving specific goals. You maybe promote change from within an organization, as a line manager, staff or internal consultant. Or maybe you do that from the outside, as an external consultant. You may also be a citizen committed to the change of the society or environment you live in. Whatever the position from which you promote change, you have in common with many others that you are driven by an inner motivation that you cannot stop listening to.
This workshop will guide you to the core of your motivation, your calling to transform. You will have the opportunity to listen to your calling, to formulate it as a compelling message to the world, to integrate it in your professional endeavor and to align it with your projects and contracts.
PART 2: – “THE ART AND CRAFT OF PROMOTING CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION IN ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER COMPLEX SOCIAL-ECOLOGICAL SYSTEMS”
You will get acquainted with the basics of the art and craft that will allow you, who are driven by a calling to transform, to increase the effects and results of your interventions, at the same time that you diminish the suffering that your efforts cause in those that will be affected by the changes you promote, and the harm you may suffer when you meet the resistance.
The model follows five stages: Attention – Intention – Intervention – Withdrawal, and five “arts and crafts”:
1. Data harvesting through multiple channels and multiple scales of system.
2. Formulation of change hypothesis.
3. Depiction of a desired future through results and effects
4. Design and facilitation of change/transformational processes and meetings.
5. Withdrawal to the core of your motivation to transform and the organizations mission.
Apart from presenting the basic arts and crafts, some participants will be invited to present real cases that they are currently working on, giving all present the opportunity to apply what they have learned to real cases.
ABOUT EUGENIO MOLINÍ, GAIT PROMOTER
Eugenio works since 1991 as a consultant specialized in the design and facilitation of change and transformational processes in organizations and social-ecological systems, processes whose success depends on the collaboration of multiple stakeholders with multiple interests, perspectives, specialties, disciplines, cultures, etc. His mission is to increase the effects and results of these processes, while at the same time diminishing the pain that the resistances inflict on those who promote the changes, and the suffering caused to those that will be affected by the changes.
In parallel to his consulting practice, Eugenio launched GAIT – Guild of Agents for Intentional Transformation, to support those who promote change and transformation of the organizations they work in and the social-ecological systems they live in.
Eugenio has worked and acquired his experience mostly in Sweden, where he lived 1979 –2008. Apart from Europe, he has designed and facilitated change processes in Africa and Latin America. He has worked with a great variety of clients: national, multinational and transnational companies; bilateral and multilateral international organizations; national and local administrations; NGOs, communities and networks. He lives in Spain since 2008, but his work makes him travel over 200 days a year.
